Associate Professor Win Min Thein graduated from University of Medicine II, Yangon, Myanmar. He undertook post graduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Medicine I, Yangon Myanmar. He worked as a specialist at Yangon General Hospital, Myanmar. He has taken various portfolio in Orthopaedics and Trauma management team. He was a fellow at FICS and attained MRCS from RCSI.
Associate Professor Win Min Thein has worked at various medical institutions in Malaysia for more than 10 years and continued to peruse post graduate certificate in medical and health sciences education from University of Hong Kong. He holds Master’s Degree in Medical Education from University of Dundee. He is currently Program Director (Phase II), School of Medicine, Taylor’s University, who taking leadership in curriculum developent, assessment and undergraduate teaching and learning. He is faculty and external examiner in various undergraduate medical program. Associate Professor Win Min Thein actively involved in research in medical education. He is supervising post graduate students in Master of Medical Sciences by research program. His special interest is Social Sciences and Qualitative Studies.
